Integrated Rep Program
The Hamilton Girls Hockey Association's integrated program will consist of ongoing player assessment and next-level tracking system to ensure all players practice and play with above level teams regularly.
An active mentorship and coach education program is directed and delivered by HGHA’s Director of coaching and Development, Steven Langdon.
Utilizing technical and tactical curricular skills, Hamilton Hawks delivers and shapes the needs of each age-specific team.
Hamilton Hawks Association encourages the use of third-party video analyses allowing athletes to take a critical look at their performance, skills, and habits.
A monitored affiliation High Performance Program (HPP) for athletes contributing with younger or lower-level teams. As well, these HPP athletes are provided regular opportunities to practice or play with our higher-level teams. ie. U15 attending a U18 practices and/or game(s).
Guest coach initiatives from both the Hamilton Girls Hockey Association and visiting coaches, such as USports, implement an essential mentorship program for your daughters team.
The HGHA's director of coaching will work with the coaches and players in the development of players across all age groups. Month-to-month and season-to-season improvements must be tracked and evaluated. This requires a highly detailed coaching program that looks far beyond the specific challenge of winning the next game, while being sufficiently nuanced to make it relevant to players at each age level.
Regular Combined Skills Development practices with Skills Expert Coaches in addition to the regular team practices…even throughout the summer months!

HGHA emphasizes the importance of player(s)/parent(s) interviews with their coach for assessments and communication a minimum of two times per season.
Hamilton Hawks offers extensive knowledge towards Post-Secondary Educational processes and procedures.
